Cookie and Spot

This was supposed to be a simple experiment in quick coloring. Then I added a background and a foreground and suddenly I had hours and hours in it. I finally had to just sign it and say "Good night!"

Warlocks

Line art finished with Photoshop. A simpler version of this was used as a logo for a roller hockey team. Like the moustache.

The Human Torch

Line art finished in Photoshop.

Frankenstein

Frankie was line art and the background was a quickie bit of marker that I altered in Photoshop.

Little red haired girl

Line art finished in Illustrator and Photoshop.

Camera del Morte

In case you're wondering...it means "The death chamber" in Italian.

Vampire

Acrylic painting.

The Thing

Marker and color pencil with some effects added in Photoshop.

Pencil illustration

Penguin man

Remember the days when someone other than the Steelers won championships Pittsburgh?

The Big Bang on a desktop.

Not what you were thinking by the title huh?Essentially the Big Bang in a snow globe.

The Titans

Logo for a roller hockey team.

The Silver Surfer

Line art on the figure. The rest is all Photoshop. Many, many layers of Photoshop. ...many...many...

This Happened To Me - Sharks

A monthly feature in "Outdoor Life" featuring tales of outdoorsmen who have a brush with danger. Penciled by Marvel Comics artist Ron Frenz with finished art by me.

This Happened To Me - Cougar

Another page from "Outdoor Life".

The Gorn

Update on the Gorn from the original Star Trek series. I tried to make him look like an iguana walking upright. Replaced a lackluster sky in Photoshop and added a little blur to give it some depth.

Foxy Moxie #1

Made for a friend of mine who liked the TV show "Stripperella". I tried to get an animated/cartoony feel to it. Kind of an upscale version of the WB shows. Line art on the character and the flag. Everything else is either Illustrator or Photoshop.

Spider-man

I went to school on the "Foxy Moxie" cover and came up with this. Didn't mean to rip myself off on the layout.

Dark Devil

My costume design was used by Marvel Comics for "Dark Devil". This was a pin up page that was used in the Dark Devil mini-series. Penciled by me. Inking by Al Milgrom.

Role playing game map

This was a floor map for a role playing game.

Black Lord

Scanned from a pencil drawing with a little monotone sepia to give it that "We are in Hell" feel.

Batgirl

A manga inspired version of the Yvonne Craig Batgirl. Loved that shiny suit!

Batman

The figure, the background, the bombs and the smoke were all done as seperate pieces in marker and color pencil and composited in Photoshop.
